Required financial calculator:
HP-10B is the preferred required calculator. This is less expensive and easier to use (but has the same functions) than the HP-12c. HP-12c financial calculator is fine also, but students must know how to use it. Please be familiar with its functions. Some free online training is available from HP on the HP12C calculator : http://h20331.www2.hp.com/hpsub/cache/302847-0-0-225-121.html
TEXTBOOKS for G courses:
The instructor will be providing handouts for the class and requires the textbook, “The Appraisal of Real Estate, 12th Ed. ”, published by the Appraisal Institute. Some R courses instructors use this book, but not all of them do. If you have this book, please bring it or borrow it from someone. The book is especially helpful in G2 and G3. You can usually find it at the www.appraisalinstitute.org, www.amazon.com and www.ebay.com.
Exam and Test Prep Materials for all levels of appraisal. Review class available.
