George Bell has more than 28-years of real estate instruction and brokerage experience and has taught approximately 425,000 people in various real estate courses and seminars. He has published two books on North Carolina real estate.
George served as the 1995 President of the International Real Estate Educators Association and holds its “Distinguished Real Estate Instructor” designation. Also in the speaking and training arena, George holds the National Speakers Association’s “Certified Speaking Professional” designation and the REALTORS® “Instructor Training Institute” Certification.
George was a member of the 2002 Class of Leadership North Carolina Association of REALTORS® (NCAR), has served as Chair of the NCAR Professional Standards & Risk Management Committees, has served as a member of the NCREEF Board of Directors, and was NCAR’s first Crystal R.
George currently serves on the NCAR Forms Committee as the 2009-09 Vice-Chair and on the NCAR Joint Forms Committee.
Mel Black
BA, EdS, JD
Mel is the former executive director of the North Carolina Appraisal Board and former Education Officer at the North Carolina Real Estate Commission. Now an attorney in private practice, Mel represents clients from around the state before their licensing boards. He also has written and regularly teaches appraisal continuing education classes through-out the state. He also teaches Real Estate continuing education by request.
